Helical Tooth Forged Gear

This forging method is aiming to achieve less CO2 emission and become more green-friendly.
By forging the outer helical tooth, we can suggest cost reduction, material yield improvement.

i.e.)
Hobbing allowance is reduced to 0.5mm each side by forging the tooth, the forged material weight will be less approx. 0.7 ~ 0.9kg, and the hobbing chips weight is reduced 50%.
The forged tooth contains the continuous metal fiber flow, which is said to have 20~30% more strength compared to fully-machined tooth.

Connecting Rod

Connecting rod, or Con rod in short, is the part connecting the piston and crankshaft of the piston engine.
Its function is to convert the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotation of the crankshaft, which both light weight and strength are required in heigh level.
Gohsyu connecting rod is available in two types:
- Separate type, two forged parts of each cap and rod
- Uniform type, forming cap and rod as one part.

Stainless is a high anti-rust metal and often applied for liquid related parts.
It's hard than regular steel used for forging, which require higher load of pressing. Thus, die control to minimize die wear issue is very important.
