Stainless is a high anti-rust metal and often applied for liquid related parts.
It's hard than regular steel used for forging, which require higher load of pressing. Thus, die control to minimize die wear issue is very important.

Also near-net-shape forging shall bring several advantages of:
1. Improved yield reducing material usage and save cost, where SUS material is expensive than steel.
2. Reduce machining process load where SUS is hard and more difficult to machine than steel.
