Connecting rod, or Con rod in short, is the part connecting the piston and crankshaft of the piston engine.
Its function is to convert the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotation of the crankshaft, which both light weight and strength are required in heigh level.
Gohsyu connecting rod is available in two types:
- Separate type, two forged parts of each cap and rod
- Uniform type, forming cap and rod as one part.
Various material and heat treatment are available, optimized suggestion shall be made based on requirements of the mechanical property.
